Subject: Engineering Statistics SeminaR

Description: The purpose of this listserv is to connect faculty and students who have an interest in using the R software environment for research and coursework.

An informal seminar is held in Engineering Lab building room 221 every Friday at 3 pm. Attendees are encouraged to pose specific questions regarding how R can be used to make the analysis of their research more efficient and easier to manage. These questions are addressed and a solution in R is coded and presented the following week. The topics generally have an engineering focus, though the material covered would be applicable to a broad audience (e.g., natural resources, physics, chemistry, etc.) The seminar is open to any interested party.
